ExitEdge AI LLC (“ExitEdge AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a consulting firm that provides AI integration and business optimization services for owner-operated businesses preparing to sell. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our website at exitedgeai.com and our client portal.

2. Information We Collect

Scorecard Data

When you complete our Exit Readiness Scorecard, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your company name, along with your assessment responses and calculated scores.

Account Data

When you are invited to the client portal, we store your name, email address, company name, and an encrypted password.

Engagement Data

During an active consulting engagement, we store information related to your engagement including operational pain points, implementation items, performance metrics, exit planning milestones, and retainer summaries.

Documents

You or your consultant may upload documents to the client portal including business financials, contracts, discovery materials, implementation documentation, and reports. These files are stored securely in cloud storage.

Usage Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated page view data. This service does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver our consulting services and operate the client portal
• To send you scorecard results, portal invitations, and engagement-related communications
• To follow up on scorecard submissions with personalized insights
• To improve our services and website experience
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (website hosting). All data is encrypted in transit via TLS and at rest. Access to client data is restricted to authorized personnel through role-based access controls.

Uploaded documents are stored in private cloud storage buckets with access limited to the engagement owner and authorized administrators.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase— database hosting, authentication, and file storage
• Vercel— website hosting and anonymous analytics
• Resend— transactional email delivery (invitations, scorecard results)
• Calendly— appointment scheduling (governed by Calendly’s own privacy policy)

Each service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We select providers that maintain industry-standard security practices.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management in the client portal. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Vercel Analytics, our only analytics tool, is cookieless and collects no personally identifiable information.

7. Data Retention

Scorecard submissions are retained indefinitely for lead management purposes. You may request deletion at any time.

Client portal data (account, engagement, and documents) is retained for the duration of the consulting engagement and for a reasonable period afterward to support any follow-up needs. After that period, data is deleted upon request.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Withdraw consent for future communications at any time
